My Site is Still being Constructed, and a bit of work still to do. Thankyou
Welcome to my site.

The idea of my site is to give you an idea of what the Citroen XM is like to own, what goes wrong, what does not go wrong, how easy or how hard to repair these cars are. My site is dedicated more towards the earlyer range of cars from 1989 to 1994 - known as the Series One and Series 1.5 cars.

I have been driving the Citroen XM for about 4 years or so now, and came across my first one in a lucky way. I had just done up and MOT'd a 1992 K reg Mazda 626 Estate, in the mean time I did a job on a car for a local independant car dealer, in which he knew I was a Citroen fanatic and he therefore informed me that he had a 1991 H reg V6 XM.. at first, I turned my nose down, in which he then responded and said ".... .. by the way, its on LPG..." in which I responded and said.. "ooooo now I am interested.."

The car turned out to be a White 1991 H reg Si V6 12 valve auto.. which had over 7 months Tax and MOT on her, so I insured her and enjoyed her, but also found out why she was passed on, the water pump was leaking. I was lucky enough to source a second hand replacment and fitted it, I also kitted her out with Leather and Electric arm rest.

In the meantime I found a Black 1991 J reg V6 SEi locally, that had been converted to manual, and being black was my best colour. Sadly, I do not have any pictures of the black car. so I sold the White V6 and bought the black one.

However, that turned out to be a bad move for me, as the manual gearbox decided to pack up. I there fore decided to look for a third one, and wanted the fullt kit this time, and was offered a K reg 1993 V6 SEi Auto.. this time being fitted with Cruise control and the wood inserts, as well as the elctric arm rest all as standard.  This is the car I have stuck with and is actually pictured above. She has a scruffy front end but has very reliable, and travelled the whole country, with everything working. This car is currently resting again now.

I ALSO, aside from my interest in the XM, have an interest in the Xantia, being a similar suspension system and car, however to the Citroen expert, the two cars are quite different despite the simillar shapes externally. I frequently buy in, do up, and sell on Xantias, and also look after a handfull of Xantias locally owned.

See my "Other Cars" section, for other models Ive owned, and still own at the moment.

Well, theres my brief introduction to XM motoring. I hope you enjoy having a look about my site.
